What are some common new year’s resolutions that people make at the start of a new year? What are the secrets to keeping them? Why do some people give up their new year’s goals after only a short time?
Happy New Year’s (Day). Often, when people start a new year, they think about new plans for the coming year, and I have three ideas that can help you.
Number one: think realistic. Don’t say that you’re going to exercise twenty-two times a week when only three is possible.
Number two: set short-term goals, perhaps out one or two weeks, and then you can adjust them as your time schedule changes and as your needs change.
And number three: don’t beat yourself up if you don’t reach your goal. Be forgiving, and then just refocus and then plan ahead and do your best.
