Hi, I’m Randall, and I’m here on a Saturday morning helping my daughter move to a new apartment, but you should keep in mind several things when moving to a new place.

First of all, read carefully the terms of the agreement. In other words, if you move out early, you might have to end up paying an early termination fee.

Number two, the cost of an apartment might depend on what floor you move to. Yes, a third-floor apartment might be cheaper, but you have to carry up all of your luggage and furniture to that place.

And finally, make sure that you work out arrangements with your roommates as to who is going to do what. In other words, who will vacuum, who’s going to do the dishes, and if you do these things, you should have a successful and good and positive experience in your new apartment.
