Sophia:
Hey, Jake. What do you usually do after school?

Jake:
Well, I first grab something to eat 'cause I'm always hungry. You know, maybe a snack, maybe some fruit, maybe a sandwich. And then I like to play basketball with my friends at the park.

Sophia:
That sounds fun. Do you play every day?

Jake:
Not every day, maybe . . . I don't know, uh, three times a week. And on the other days, I just relax and play video games at home . . . something like that.

Sophia:
Oh, I do something similar.

Jake:
Wait, wait, you play basketball? I didn't know that.

Sophia:
No, I play video games. I would never play basketball. That sounds like work. No, no video games. Then, I usually listen to music or watch a movie before I start my homework.

Jake:
Okay. Do you ever hang out with your friends after school?

Sophia:
We sometimes go to a restaurant near school. We talk about this and that, or maybe we'll game online.

Jake:
Yeah, that sounds fun. I think it's important to relax, you know, before you do that boring homework.

Sophia:
Yeah, it helps me feel less stressed out, but . . .

Jake:
Oh, there's always a "but."

Sophia:
Yeah, but if I relax too long, then I don't want to study.

Jake:
Same here. I guess balance is key.
