Script: [ Back to Video Questions ] Hi, I'm Randall. You know preparing for college is a real big step, and a couple of things you might consider as you are preparing . . . uh . . . First of all, you need to get, uh, a folder, and some binders, and this can help you stay organized because many students just end up stuffing their notes in the bottom of their backpack. The other thing is, of course, many students want to get some type of, uh, laptop or maybe they might want to get a Web cam to communicate with family. However, many schools have computer labs, and often a computer is more of a luxury than a necessity. And the last thing is as you are preparing, you might want to get a good sturdy backpack 'cause you might be carrying your books a long, long way. So, again, stay organized, get only what you need, and the other thing is, get a good backpack that will really help you carry around your load.
