Hi, I'm Randall. I'm standing outside a local supermarket, and, you know, everyone needs food, but there are probably three things we can do to make it a better and cheaper experience.
Number one: buy in bulk . . . in quantity. Let's say you only need two or three of an item, but if you buy, maybe ten, you might be it at a cheaper price, and you can set aside the other things for another day.
Number two: Check your local newspaper or the Internet for coupons that might give you discounts on certain items.
And number three, buy generic. You don't need the latest brand of macaroni or soup. Just a basic brand might do the job at a much cheaper price.
