Abel S. Contreras

Services for Abel S. Contreras, 80, of Clovis were held Tuesday at the Faith Chapel Assembly of God Church in Fresno, under the direction of Clovis Funeral Chapel. Mr. Contreras was a retired farm worker. He died Feb. 5 (1993). Surviving are his wife, Ana Contreras of Clovis;; sons Able Contreras of Fresno, Asael Contreras of Vallejo and Josue Contreras of New Jersey; daughters Ruth Balch of Singapore, Loida Sosa of Fresno, Juanita Davis and Lea Tingle, both of Indiana, and Ester Davidian of Woodland Hills; a brother, Esteran (should be "Estevan") Contreras of Texas; sisters Otilla (Otilia") Monsebals, Raquel Trejo and Rebecca Guerrero, all of Texas; 22 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
